How to Create a RDP Shortcut in your PC desktop ?


Hello Readers,..
Have you ever tried to connect your RDP Server directly by just a click ?
We think no,.but you can connect to your RDP Servers by just a click inspite of putting details again and again.
In this post we are going to tell how to make an easy shortcut for connecting your server from desktop only.
Just follow below steps carefully.

Step 1
Right click anywhere on you desktop and select "New" option then "Shortcut".


Step 2
Type the location in "Type The Location of the Item", then click on next button below right corner. In ""Type The Location of the Item" field you can enter below code (choose any one).
mstsc.exe /v:( Your Assigned RDP Address)
 OR
mstsc.exe /v:44.33.22.11 /w:900 /h:700
w : resolution width for the RDP that you’re connecting to, you can set custom.
h :  resolution height for the RDP that you’re connecting to, you can set custom.


Step 3
Now you will see new screen, in there it will be asking a name of shortcut you want to put,..(You can write any shortcut name according to your wish).

How To Open a RDP Server In Your Windows PC


1. Open "Run" From Start menu.

2. Type "mstsc" in text box, and press enter key on your keyboard. You will get a new popup as below pic.

3. In that popup type server IP or Name you recieved in "Computer" field.


4. Click connect, it will now give another pop up.

5. In that new pop up fill your credentials that you have received after buying in your mail ID by choosing "Use Another Account" .

Step 1

Go to start and then open "run", then type "mstsc.exe" and then press enter.

Step 2

Now you will get Remote Desktop Connection dialogue box infront of you. In that select "Options".

Step 3

After selecting "options", you will now see all settings related to connection. In that choose "Display" option from head tabs, and do the settings as below mentioned in image.

Step 4

Now select "Experience" tab from header, after choosing it you have to set all the following settings as shown in image below.
